Get ready for an intimate evening of Folk, Roots, and Bluegrass with Twang, the award-winning Danish trio bringing their unique blend of virtuosic musicianship, three-part harmonies and playful improvisation to Toronto.
Featuring banjo, fiddle, guitar, double bass and three-part vocals, Twang has spent more than a decade developing a sound that is deeply rooted in American-Folk traditions while constantly pushing those traditions in unexpected directions. The trio’s energetic and improvisational live shows have earned them audiences across Europe and North America, including sold-out performances at Denmark’s renowned Tønder Festival.
In 2024, Twang was awarded a Danish Music Award for Roots Band of the Year, while their album Propaganda received two additional DMA nominations.
Now, Toronto audiences have the chance to experience Twang up close at the intimate Annette Studio. Expect virtuosic playing, beautiful harmonies, humour, spontaneity and a performance that can move effortlessly from Bluegrass and Folk to Blues and beyond.
